Colgate farm gets its name from Col as short for cold – is a common name in the Cotswolds – eg Cold Aston and Cold Salperton and gateway to the Cotswolds.
Colgate is the gateway to the Cotswolds.
Charlie and Lisa Llewellen Palmer bought the farm in 1998 to run a polo yard training young small thoroughbred horses to be polo ponies. They have three boys and (finally!) a girl born 2000 to 2006.
